The third week of the nail-biting Dudley Monday Football League saw some thrilling clashes in the Premier League division. With goals galore and a few surprising scores, this season is proving to be an exciting one for football enthusiasts.
Pacesetters FC faced off against Sewey FC in a match dominated by the former. Pacesetters FC put up an impressive performance, scoring 5 goals against their competitor's 2, proving why they are regarded as one of the key teams in this season. This game goes down as match of the night as Sewey played fantastically, despite succumbing to a late comeback from Pacesetters, well played both sides.
However, the match between MET FC and The Old Tigers was one for the books. In a tightly contested game, The Old Tigers emerged victorious by a slender margin, edging out MET FC with a 3-2 scoreline. This victory has certainly sent a strong message to the rest of the division.
Another exciting game on the night came from Donkey Pool FC and Brexit Bad Boys, with both teams proving their attacking prowess. Despite a spirited performance from Donkey Pool FC, Brexit Bad Boys secured a win with a 6-4 scoreline. This result earns Brexit Bad Boys the title of team of the week as they earn an invaluable 2 points, well played boys.
