In week 1 of the much-anticipated Dudley Monday 5-a-side Football League, football enthusiasts were treated to some riveting action with some standout performances. The league, which is structured into two divisions: the Premier League and Division 1, showcased a night of competitive spirit and thrilling goals.

We did have one non-attendance on the night as Yungens FC were not present for there fixture, We will be in contact with them to confirm there return this week. In more positive news, in the Premier League division, SH Dons and Goal Diggers locked horns in a fiercely contested match, which ended in a 4-3 win for Goal Diggers, will these two teams be the top two teams again? Brexit Bad Boys, on the other hand, secured a crucial 3-1 victory over The Old Tigers, Meaning they get off to the best start possible for the season ahead.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the games were equally exciting. Ketamignolet beat Diddys Dream 7-3 in a tense face-off, while Borussia Dormston secured a comfortable 7-1 win against Underdawgs FC. Glass Ankels FC and Munchen Phatbach FC both shone, when they played out very entertaining 1-1 draw to start the campaign.
