In the thrilling week 8 of the Dudley Monday 5-a-side Football League, the competition was intense with teams battling it out in both the Premier League and Division 1. With only two weeks left in the season, teams are vying for that coveted top spot, and players are showing their mettle under pressure.

We did have on non-attendance on the night as Barely Athletic FC were not present for there fixture. They have already confirmed there return for next week and we look forward to having them back. It is paramount that teams are at the league every week in order for the league to thrive, if there are any problems then please be sure to contact your Area Manager in plenty of time.

In more positive news, in the Premier League, The Old Tigers roared past Barely Athletic FC with a decisive 5-0 win. Although Barely Athletic FC put up a brave defence, it was not enough to hold back the might of the Old Tigers. Meanwhile, the Brexit Bad Boys managed to scrape a narrow victory over the Goal Diggers, with the final score reading 2-1. However, the highlight of the night was the sensational showdown between Crisis FC and SH Dons. 

Over in Division 1, the matches were just as energetic. Munchen Phatbach FC eked out a 6-4 victory over Borussia Dormston while Diddys Dream emerged victorious with a 4-1 triumph over Underdawgs FC. Glass Ankles FC and Ketamingolet showcased a tit-for-tat match, with Glass Ankles FC clinching a 6-4 win.

With just two weeks left in the season, teams are urged to secure their place for the next season. The adrenaline is only set to rise higher in the coming weeks as we approach the season climax of the Dudley Monday 5 a side Football League.
