Football Fever Rages On: Sedgley Monday League Week 8 Results

In the heart of Sedgley, Monday night saw the exciting 8th week of the 5-a-side football league. With only two weeks left in the season, the competition is heating up and teams are vying to secure their places for the next season.

Unfortunately we did have one non attendance on the night as Crisis FC were not present for their fixture. We will be in contact with this team in the next few days in order to confirm their return for next week. It is paramount that all teams are present for their fixture each and every week in order for the league to run smoothly, if there are any issues please be sure to contact you area manager in plenty of time.

In more positive news, in the Premier League division, Goal Diggers edged out a win against The Old Tigers, with a close scoring game. In other games in this division. SH Dons had a fiercely contested match with Brexit Bad Boys, SH Dons narrowly coming out on top. Next up it was AFC Gornal facing off with Munchen Phatbach FC, finely poised AFC Gornal squeezed their way to claim the win in a tight affair.

In Division 1 Diddys Dream and Borussia Dormston shared a goal fest! On this occasion Diddys Dream coming away with the victory.  Ketamingolet were on top form on the night beating Underdawgs FC in a highly entertaining match. Nearing the end of season, things are really hotting up in division 1!

Division 2 saw a fiercely fought battle between Johns Stoned and Out On Bale, which ended in a victory for Johns Stoned. an eye catching game which had spectators on the edge of the seats. Notinyourmums Forest FC then Played out a goal fest with La Masala with the game ending all square. 

With the stakes higher than ever and only two weeks to go, the Sedgley Monday League promises more nail-biting matches and exceptional performances from its players. Stay tuned for the dramatic conclusion of this thrilling football season.
