In the opening week of the Brierley Hill Wednesday 6-a-side Football League, numerous teams across two divisions locked horns, setting the stage for an enthralling season ahead.

Unfortunately, we did  have one non-attendance on the night as Wrens Nest were not present for there fixture and we will be in contact with them this week to confirm their return for Wednesday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

The Premier League division saw Six On The Beach narrowly secure a 2-1 victory over DY8 All The Pies, starting their campaign on a promising note. Meanwhile, King Julians Merry Men asserted their dominance with a convincing 4-0 victory over Pique Blinders. 

In the Division 1 matches, Scudu Without Scudu took the spotlight with a 2-0 triumph over Gangsters Allardyce, whereas AFC Yeltz edged past Choir Boys FC in a tightly contested 1-0 win. 

As the season progresses, fans can expect more thrilling matches, stunning goals, and intense competition as teams vie for the top spots in their respective divisions.
