Brierley Hill Wednesday 6 a side news 2025-03-19

In the wake of an electrifying week of football, the Brierley Hill Wednesday 6-a-side league is heating up as the teams charge through week four of the season.

Unfortunately there was an incident on the night as a card had to be issued to two players. A player from Queens Park Strangers and a player from AFC Yeltz have been banned for two weeks and fined £20 due to a scuffle on the floor between each other during the game between the respective teams on the night, which the area manager has dealt with. This incident will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each time they happen as it is not the league we want to promote at the venue.

In the Premier League Division, DY8 All The Pies and King Julians Merry Men fought to a nail-biting 4-4 draw. The game was a true showcase of skill, determination, and teamwork.  Meanwhile, Six On The Beach secured a significant 5-3 victory against Redz On Stedz.

Over in Division 1, AFC Yeltz dominated the pitch with a decisive victory over Queens Park Strangers. Choir Boys FC also upheld their fine form, securing a 3-1 win against Scudu Without Scudu.

This week’s results have certainly set the stage for an interesting trajectory for the rest of the season. Football enthusiasts are eager to see how the teams will adjust their strategies in the coming weeks.
