24th October - IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL TEAMS!
We have been contacted by the University who have received complaints from the Lacrosse booking that run prior to us on the Bournbrook pitches.
They have stated that people who play in the league are kicking footballs around and encroaching on to the pitch before we start at 6pm. Not only is this unfair to another group who have paid to hire the pitch, but it also poses a serious Health and Safety threat to people who are entering the field of play and risking being hit by a Lacrosse ball whilst that game is taking place.
We are not prepared to put our long standing booking with the University in jeopardy and have asked our staff and the university staff to keep an eye on this moving forward. Unfortunately if there are repeat offenders we will be left with no alternative but to ban individuals or teams from the league which is the last resort we want to take.
Please take note of the above post as we want all participants to continue enjoying playing in the league, and we do not want to have to ban people from attending for such an avoidable issue.
