LEAGUE CANCELLED FOR TWO WEEKS OVER CHRISTMAS!

THE UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM SUNDAY 6 A SIDE LEAGUE IS NOW CANCELLED FOR TWO WEEKS OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD AND WILL RETURN TO ACTION ON SUNDAY 5TH JANUARY 2025 AS PER THE FIXTURES ONLINE - WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO WISH YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALL AT LEISURE LEAGUES!

In the Premier League division, Cadballerz triumphed in a closely contested match against GamingSoc, with a 2-1 victory. It was Declan who stole the show, scoring both goals for Cadballerz and emerging as the division's top scorer. Chiellini Con Carne and DADS ARMY, as well as Chivas Primera and METCH FC, both concluded their games with a 0-0 draw, showing the dominance of defensive strategy in the division.

The first division saw an impressive performance by Sevilla Tism FC, crushing AFC BIGFATDAVE with a 7-0 scoreline. Ben from Sevilla Tism FC showed his prowess, netting four goals and clinching the top scorer spot this week.

In Division 2, 3 Small Plates FC and Diamond Scrubs emerged as victors against Sharkys Saints and Road To GC respectively. Shaun Davies was the standout player in this division, scoring three goals for shlongball.

On to Division 3, Team Z and Stevie Wonders both gained victory against Bocat Army and The Cotters respectively, while Dead Ballers FC snatched a narrow win against 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC.

Finally, in Division 4, Jiggy Jiggy United showed their dominance over Ellis Ate Jonah FC with a 4-1 win, while Munter Hunters put up a strong show against Steel & Iron, securing a 5-2 victory.

As the season continues, all eyes will be on the top scorers of each division as they look to lead their respective teams to glory in the coming weeks.
