NEW SEASONS FIXTURES NOW LIVE FOR BIRMINGHAM NEW SEASON!
The new seasons fixtures are now live online for the Birmingham Sunday league which starts again this Sunday 8th August.
We are pleased to welcome three new teams to the league for the campaign ahead. We wish good luck to Sting Dem FC who go into the Premier Division, Gledfellas and Dumbedore Pure Bludz who will start off their campaign in Division Two.
Congratulations to our league winners Chivas Primera, Krul Runnings, It Was Only a Squide, Oldman Athletic, Boca Seniors and FC Tormenta and also well done to our Runners-Up Dads Army, Tea and Busquets, Only Put Matip In, Cesc Pistols, Jose 6 and The Pique Blinders.
We remind all teams of the need to continue paying their match fees online through the website as we no longer deal with cash at any of our leagues. All match fees must be paid by 3pm on the day of your game at the latest. Match fees CANNOT be paid online after the game has taken place and games will not be kicked off until these payments are made. For the benefit of our new teams, match fees are paid by clicking HERE and following the on screen instructions.
Please note that Divisions 3 and 4 will continue to operate at the Metchley Lane 3G pitch for the time being. Resurfacing work of the Hockey Pitches at the University is scheduled for completion this month, so we expect to be back playing on there by the end of August or early September. A call will be made to all team captains when this has been completed, but if you are in Divisions 3 or 4 then please continue to attend Metchley Lane until told otherwise.Premier Division, Division One and Division Two will continue to operate on the 3G pitch on the University of Birmingham Campus.
