Sunday 15th October - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a cancellation from Gledfellas who return on 22nd October, and a non-attendance from Invictus FC who have now been removed from the league.

We welcome new team Brooklyn Elephants into the league as a replacement for the above, and wish these good luck going into their debut game on Sunday 22nd October!

We also welcome a new team into Division Four, as Becks on Draught FC join us on Sunday 22nd October as a replacement for the outgoing Ndicka In Dias.

In the Premier League, Chiellini Con Carne emerged victorious with a remarkable 4-0 win against DADS ARMY. Aidan Courts of Chiellini Con Carne outshone his peers scoring 3 goals, earning him the title of top scorer in the division this week.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the match between Athletico Northfield and Chivas Supplemento ended with a 3-1 victory in favor of Chivas Supplemento. Sean Bizabani of FDL FC showed exceptional skill, scoring 2 goals to be named the top scorer of Division 1.

Division 2 also had its fair share of excitement. AFC Domi Force was defeated 2-0 by Bell Them Birds Back Lad, while Alton Wanderers FC secured an impressive 4-0 victory over Dead Ballers FC. The division saw Matt from Alton Wanderers FC shine as the top scorer with 2 goals.

In Division 3, Broderick AFC managed a narrow 1-0 win against Le Sserafim FC. One of the week's highlights was the match between BigFatDave FC and Leavemyarcelona, ending 1-0 in favor of Leavemyarcelona.

A notable match in Division 4 was the high scoring game between Brummie Boys FC and Ndicka In Dias, where Ndicka In Dias triumphed with an astounding scoreline of 8-2.

Finally, in Division 5, Real Pasante outplayed Scunners Utd with a solid 4-0 victory. The division was rife with competition, with Balotelli Tubbies squeezing out a 3-2 win against Say No To Drugs FC.

We wish all teams good luck going into game week 5 of the campaign with Birmingham's premier providers of small sided football, and once again thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league on a weekly basis.
