Sunday 17th September - University of Birmingham Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league to end the season.  We had a handful of teams missing due to late cancellations though.  All will be spoken to ahead of the new season which kicks off on Sunday 24th September!

In the Premier League division, the Washed Kings FC emerged victorious with a total of 15 points and 7 wins. The standout match saw Gledfellas triumph over DADS ARMY with an impressive score of 6-1.

The Division 1 title went to Union WIP, who concluded the season with 15 points and 7 wins. They showcased their dominance in the final game, as Athletico Northfield swept METCH FC with a 3-0 victory.

The second division ended with Cadballerz at the top of the table with 18 points and 9 wins. An electrifying performance by Declan, who netted five goals in their 7-2 win against Alton Wanderers FC, crowned him the top scorer of the division.

Sportugal claimed the Division 3 championship with 18 points and 9 wins. The high scoring game of the final match day saw AFC Domi Force score 4 goals against BigFatDave FC.

In Division 4, the SB Generals won the title with 14 points and 7 wins. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for the Generals, as they narrowly lost to MXRLEYS ANGELS in a 3-2 showdown.

Finally, Le Sserafim FC clinched the Division 5 championship with 14 points and 6 wins. The final match day was highlighted by the balanced performance between Weoley Warriors and Le Sserafim FC, both teams sharing the spoils in a 3-3 draw.

As the season comes to an end, we congratulate all the champions in their respective divisions and commend the top scorers for their stellar performances.
