Overall it was a good evening's football in Birmingham on Sunday with the league going fairly smoothly considering the League Cup Final was taking place on the same day. We had 8 teams cancel with 7 days notice for this week, all of which return on Sunday 8th March. Everyone else who said they would be in attendance were good to their word and matches went well.
Make a Change United remain top of the Premier Division following their 4-1 victory over The Hungry Boys. One more point will seal the title for Make a Change, with 2 games remaining to get this. Brunzwick Blades moved into second place with their 5-0 win, just ahead of Dads Army on goals scored although they won 3-1. Sporting Madrid moved out of the relegation zone with a 3-1 victory over Tekkerslovakia.
Not much change to the table in Division One, The SSS FC got a 5-0 win and have all but sealed the title with 2 to play. The games between Rachel Riley and Six Offenders, and Chivas Supplemento and Team Name ended goalless. Actuary Not That Bad moved a step closer to promotion with their 6-0 win over Shovel Returns.
Well done to Chiellini Con Carne who are champions and won 4-1 this week against Registered Six Defenders. Second placed Dolce and Lallana are all but promoted too following their 4-0 against Tea and Busquets.
Krul Runnings aren't taking their foot off the gas despite winning Division Three, they were 5-1 winners in their match against Lads on Toure, whilst second placed Finn Loves Grans moved a step closer to promotion following a 1-0 win over AFC Kings Heath.
Beeches FC confirmed promotion this week in Division Four after a 5-0 win in the absence of Stevie Wonders. Average Bros also received a 5-0 win meaning another win will see them promoted.
Delph and Safety returned to action after missing their game last week, and went to the top of the Division Five table following their 1-0 victory against Dinamo Dawilsh. TenGermanBobby's slipped to second after a 2-2 draw with Fatty Trekkers.
We wish all teams good luck going into next weeks matches as everyone returns to action as normal.
