Sunday 20th August - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league. We were disappointed to see non-attendances from two teams, but both Robben Me Blind and Cadballerz have confirmed they will return this weekend as normal.

In the highly competitive Premier League, Chiellini Con Carne and Gledfellas played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw, while DADS ARMY fell to a 3-1 defeat against Damo Carew. The standout performer in this division was Quay from Damo Carew, who scored an impressive goal.

Division 1 brought forth another set of exciting encounters. Athletico Northfield fought valiantly but succumbed to a 5-3 defeat against Union WIP. In another closely contested match, Ls Up Fc narrowly lost 2-1 to METCH FC. Elliott of Union WIP emerged as the top scorer in this division, netting an impressive 3 goals.

Division 2 featured a dominant display from Chivas Supplemento, who secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Invictus FC. John of Chivas Supplemento stole the limelight by scoring an impressive 2 goals, earning him the top scorer title in this division.

The action continued in Division 3, where AFC Domi Force triumphed with a 3-1 victory over Sportugal. Weoley W**kers faced a heavy 5-1 defeat against Dead Ballers FC, while Bell Them Birds Back Lad managed to secure a narrow 2-1 win against BigFatDave FC. Carter White of AFC Domi Force showcased his goal-scoring prowess, bagging an impressive total of 3 goals.

In Division 4, MXRLEYS ANGELS secured a 2-0 victory over Top Gs, while Leavemyarcelona fell to a heavy 4-0 defeat against The Hungry Boys. Diamond Scrubs managed to edge out SB Generals with a close 2-1 win. The top scorer in this division remains unmentioned.

Lastly, in Division 5, Broderick AFC displayed an outstanding performance, demolishing Weoley Warriors with an impressive 6-0 victory. The Cotters secured a narrow 1-0 win against Tiger Force. Unfortunately, the top scorer for this division has not been mentioned.
