It was a good evening's football overall in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week. We were however disappointed to see failures to attend from a couple of teams who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their returns to action on Sunday 28th January.
In the Premier League, Athletico Northfield were narrowly defeated by X, with a score of 1-0, in a razor-edge match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. Chiellini Con Carne secured a hard-fought victory against DADS ARMY, with the final score at 1-0. Cadballerz stole the show with a commanding 4-1 victory against Damo Carew.
Moving to Division 1, Alton Wanderers FC and Gangsters Allardyce battled to a stalemate, ending the match with a 0-0 draw. FDL FC suffered a loss to Robben Me Blind, who secured a 3-1 win. Chivas Supplemento triumphed over Say No To Drugs FC with a commanding 5-1 victory. Up The Cru and SB Generals ended their game evenly matched with a 3-3 draw.
In Division 2, Broderick AFC outplayed Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys, securing a comfortable 5-0 victory. Diamond Scrubs were narrowly defeated by Chivas Primera, who clinched a 2-1 win, while Dead Ballers FC dominated Sharkys Saints with a 4-0 victory. Sporting Stirchley FC won against The Hungry Boys with a 2-0 score.
The competition in Division 3 saw AFC Domi Force eke out a narrow win against Leavemyarcelona with a final score of 1-0. ECFC and Sevilla Tism FC finished their match with a 3-3 draw, with BigFatDave FC defeating The Cotters by 4-1. TMA secured a slim 1-0 victory over Top Gs.
Division 4 witnessed Circumcised United clinching a 2-1 victory over Paraletic Athletic. In the most lopsided match of the night, Real Pasante dominated Weoley Ballers with an impressive 9-0 score.
Lastly, in Division 5, Hangin bagged a 3-0 win against Finding Timo, marking an impressive end to the week's matches.
