Sunday 29th September - University of Birmingham Round-Up
It was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exceptions being a cancellation from SB Generals, and a non-attendance from WhyAyewRunning, both of which will be spoken to accordingly and confirmed to return on Sunday 6th October.
In the Premier League, Cadballerz dominated in an impressive 8-2 victory over Alton Wanderers FC. Ivan, of Cadballerz, was the standout player of the match, netting three goals to secure his position as the top scorer in the division. Chiellini Con Carne also added to their positive season with a 2-1 win over FC TooGreedyyy while Chivas Supplemento claimed a 3-1 victory against Sh*t G's.
Moving to Division 1, it was a goal fest as AFC Domi Force routed DIDDY PARTY FC 8-0. GamingSoc also claimed a robust 7-3 victory against METCH FC. The division's standout performance belonged to Chivas Primera, who narrowly edged out The Hungry Boys 1-0 in a closely fought encounter.
The action in Division 2 saw a thrilling 2-2 tie between Diamond Scrubs and Robben Me Blind. Sevilla Tism FC embarrassed Stevie Wonders with a convincing 5-0 victory, while Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys fell 2-1 to Sharkys Saints. AFC BIGFATDAVE secured a narrow 3-2 win over Puntas FC.
Finally, in Division 3, Bocat Army blanked Dead Ballers FC 3-0. Shlongball claimed a 3-1 victory over I Put My Heart In This, and The Cotters overwhelmed Team Z with an awe-inspiring 6-0 victory. 3 Small Plates FC also secured a clean sheet with a 2-0 win over Shaggers.
