Sunday 2nd March - Birmingham Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring Team Z who'll be spoken to accordingly.

In the Premier League, the Avengers Assombalonga eked out a narrow victory, beating Chiellini Con Carne 2-1. Cadballerz faced a tough loss against Chivas Supplemento, fading 0-3, while Sevilla Tism FC also fell to DADS ARMY by the same scoreline. However, the highlight of the Premier League was the dominant performance by GamingSoc, who humbled Jiggy Jiggy United with a whopping 7-0 scoreline. Tristen from the Chivas Supplemento bagged the title of top scorer for the week in the Premier League, netting two spectacular goals.

Division 1 was equally competitive. 3 Small Plates FC managed to edge out Chivas Primera in a tight 1-0 game, while Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys clinched a victory against AFC Domi Force in a similarly close encounter. Munter Hunters battled it out against 3 4 A 1na to win 2-1, while The Hungry Boys and Only Goals Fc ended their game in a 1-1 draw.

In Division 2, Shlongball and Dead Ballers FC delivered an intense match that ended in a 1-1 draw, while Bocat Army, HARAM BALL, and Sharkys Saints each claimed slim 1-0 victories against Diamond Scrubs, SOLless CAMBPELLends, and Ringers FC, respectively. Jack from Dead Ballers FC was the standout player of the division, scoring the only goal in their match.

In Division 3, Gooners faced a crushing defeat against Road To GC, who scored a resounding 5-0 victory. Finally, in Division 4, Ellis Ate Jonah FC edged out 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC 2-1, Inter Ya Nan Fc lost 2-4 to I Put My Heart In This, and Steel & Iron secured a narrow 1-0 triumph over Moseley Magpies.
