It was another fantastic evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled across all six divisions! We welcomed a new team to Division Five, Le Sserafim FC, who ran out impressive 4-1 winners over The Cotters on their league debut.
In the Premier League division, Gledfellas and Brummy Strollers played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw, showcasing their determination and skill. Meanwhile, Damo Carew were outclassed by a dominant performance from Washed Kings FC, who secured an impressive 10-2 victory. The match between DADS ARMY and Chiellini Con Carne was a closely contested affair with DADS ARMY emerging triumphant with a 3-2 scoreline.
The Premier League's top scorer for the week was Wade from Washed Kings FC, who demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess by netting an astounding seven goals.
In Division 1, Union WIP proved their mettle as they triumphed over METCH FC with a 2-1 win. Ls Up Fc showcased their attacking prowess, defeating Chivas Primera 3-1. Sam Guglielmino of Ls Up Fc emerged as the top scorer in Division 1, finding the back of the net twice.
