In the Premier Division leaders Your Dad Sells Avon remain two points clear as they were 2-1 winners over Chiellini Con Carne in a tightly contested game, whilst Gledfellas remain on the coattails as they won by the same scoreline against Dad's Army. Neverloseagain clicked into gear and picked up their first win at the third time of asking since joining, they romped to a 6-0 win over Crusaders to give them something to build on for the remainder of the season, whilst completing the divisions action saw Pique and Chivas share the spoils with a point apiece in a well contested 1-1 draw.
In Division One, Damo Carew's incredible season continued into week 8 as they were comfortable 5-0 winners over Hungry Boys, their second consecutive victory by this scoreline. Gylfi Pleasures occupy the second promotion spot after they sneaked past Dumbledore Pure Bludz by a single goal, whilst We've Got Diogo Jota moved up to third after running out comfortable 3-0 winners over AFC Kings Heath, elsewhere Cesc Pistols moved to two points clear of relegation as they were 3-1 winners over The Tormenta.
Division Two remained unchanged in the standings as leaders Hales Angels were comfortable 3-0 winners over Mxrleys Angels to remain a point ahead of second placed Tikka Taka who won 4-1 over Athletico Northfield. Third placed Robben Me Blind do their best to keep up with the promtion chasers and grabbed a 3-1 win over BigFatDave to keep in with a shout of the teams above them ahead of their matchup with the league leaders this weekend coming.
Division Three leaders Ajax Army looked in solid form once again this week, collecting maximum points by a 3-1 scoreline as the Mid-table Cotters. Ballers or Draws got a crucial 2-1 win over third placed Invictus to put themselves two points clear of the team below them, and remaining within 2 points of the leaders. Fourth placed Goals Aloud keep plugging away and gave their goal difference a boost this week as they ran out 9-3 winners over bottom placed The Score Is, whilst Akhtars put themselves three points clear of the drop zone by beating Naughty Pinky 3-1.
The top four in Division Four are split by just a solitary point after this weekends action. We have new leaders in Alton Wanderers as they cruised to a 4-0 victory over sixth placed Dead Ballers, whilst The Elgar Penthouse grabbed a vital 1-0 win over FC Bournabeu to move into second and put their opponents down to fourth! Boshers won by the same scoreline to move up a place to third as they overcame a dogged The Pie Guys, whilst Madeleine Milan in fifth aren't a million miles from the coveted promtion spots as their 2-0 victory over Brummie Boys only sees them three points off the summit!
In Division Five, Ndicka In Dias now sit at the summit as they were comfortable 7-2 victors over Gangsters Allardyce, whilst Hicks and Eel drop to third place from top after being beaten 2-1 by Masterbaiters.
We wish all teams good luck heading into game week 9 with Birmingham's premier small sided football providers!
