It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Birmingham on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance apart from cancellations from Chivas Primera and Supplemento who will be back as normal on Sunday 10th February.
Congratulations to Goosters who sealed the Premier Division title with a game to spare this week as they narrowly beat Tilton Rifles 1-0. Podolskiing were 5-0 winners in their game to sneak into second spot with just one game to play as it is now a straight shoot out between them and Tilton as to who can grab the Runners-Up medals.
Dad's Army and D&G continue to battle it out for supremacy in Division One with just goals for separating the two, Dads Army lead the way by 6 more goals. Both are guaranteed promotion from their league but will want to seal it as Winners in what looks like an exciting end to the season this weekend coming.
Congratulations to Sporting Madrid who confirmed themselves as Division Two winners this week after they edged past Six Offenders 1-0. The Hungry Boys now sit in second place as they won 2-0 in their game against League Hunters, all three of these teams still have a chance of promotion as they chase down that final place.
Simply Kosher were surprisingly beaten 2-0 by sixth placed Spartatak, they are however already promoted so are playing under no pressure as the season ends. Second place is still very much up for grabs in Division Three though as Sportugal went one point clear of For The Fans this week, Sportugal winning 1-0 against Brian Munich whilst FTF could only manage a 1-1 draw with South Birmingham Storm who Sportugal face next week.
Whiligh FC sit top of Division Four as they drew 1-1 with Put It Up My Brum in a very tight league. Hannover sit in second place as they face against Boom Boom Pau in the final week of the season, the winner of that will finish second.
Shovel FC remain top of Division Five by the skin of their teeth after they were beaten 3-1 by Tinchy Sneijder, next week they face second placed Che Bois in the season finale, a must win for both as a draw could see both overtaken By Tekkers-Slovakia who face bottom of the table AyewBlind.
We wish all teams the best of luck as we enter the final round of fixtures in what has been an exciting season from the kick off.
