It was a superb evening's football in the Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week overall. The only disappointment was failures to attend from Paris Ganja Man and FC SE, both of which will be spoken to and confirmed to return on Sunday 10th November. We have removed AFC Woodgate from the league following another non-attendance as they appeared to be time wasters.
It remains tight at the top of the Premier Division with just one point separating Make a Change and Dad's Army after both picked up wins again this week, Make a Change had the Points Match and a welcome 5-0 win, whilst Dad's Army put daylight between them and third placed Team Name who they thrashed 4-0.
Brunswick Bladez said goodbye to their 100% record in Division One after 10 games, a 1-0 reverse against The SSS FC sees The Hungry Boys move to within three points of them after they hammered League Hunters 6-0.
in Division Two, top of the table Chivas Primera also suffered defeat this week as Delph and Safety thumped them 5-2. Put It Up My Brum moved to within three points of top spot after a 3-1 victory over Expected Toulouse, who drop to sixth.
Division Three remains as close as ever with the top three teams all winning again this week, they remain separated by just 2 points. Top of the table Lads on Toure had a 5-0 walkover against UAE Town who cancelled with 7 days notice, whilst second placed Tea and Busquets edged past Ten German Bobbys 1-0. Third placed Dolce and Lallana were 4-0 winners against Sainsbury's Baysix.
The Trogs missed the opportunity to go top of Division Four after a 2-2 draw with Average Bros FC. Top of the table Finn Loves Grans were also held to a 2-2 draw by Average Bros. However, third placed Orange Tangerines sweet 1-0 win over Cadbury puts them right in the hunt as they also now sit just a point from the summit.
We wish all teams the best of luck going into next weeks matches with Birmingham's premier providers of small sided football!
