It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Birmingham on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night for their scheduled matches, and some entertaining matches played across all five divisions.
We are delighted to confirm that a new team will be joining the league on Sunday 12th January! We wish Tekkerslovakia good luck going into their first fixture in the Premier Division.
Make a Change and Dad's Army continue to lead the way at the top of the Premier Division. Make a Change picked up a 5-0 win this week whilst Dad's Army's 1-0 victory over D&G keeps them in contention too. Hungry Boys moved into third place after they put in a disciplined performance to beat a well organised Sporting Madrid 2-0, whilst Chivas Primera moved up to fourth place after an entertaining matches against Brunswick Bladez who they beat 2-1.
In Division One, The SSS FC are yet to concede a goal 5 games in, they were 1-0 winners against Simply Kosher who drop to fifth place. Actuary Not That Bad moved into second place after they beat Chivas Supplemento 2-1 too move above them, whilst Six Offenders also won 1-0 in their match against Team Name.
Tea and Busquets lead the way in Division Two after a 2-0 victory over League Hunters. They're closely followed by Chiellini Con Carne and Dead Ballers respectively, the latter moving above this weeks opponents Dolce and Lallana who they beat 2-1. Registered Six Defenders remain at the foot of the table despite an impressive 3-2 win over Charl Partridge who they are now level on points with.
In Division Three Krul Runnings were impressive 3-0 winners against AFC Kings Heath, who they moved above and into pole position. Finn Loves Grans 1-0 win over UAE Town sees them move into second place as Kings Heath drop to third. There was little to choose between the bottom two teams as Incredible Scenery and Expected Toulouse played out a 1-1 draw to remain as you were in the table.
Average Bros remain top of Division Four despite suffering a 1-0 reverse at the hands of Beeches FC, however, this weeks opponents now move level on points with the leaders, just goal difference the separating factor. The Trogs were held to a 1-1 draw by Cadbury Old Timers, a result which sees them drop out of the promotion places and into third, whilst Orange Tangerines move into fourth place with their entertaining 3-2 win over Stevie Wonders. Sainsbury's Baysix won the battle of the bottom two as they beat De Jong Offenders 2-0 to tighten the table up a bit.
