Sunday 5th May - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance over Bank Holiday weekend bar a handful.  We welcome back Alton Wanderers, Up The Cru, Tekkaslovakia and Moist Blankets for their matches on Sunday 12th May.

We also welcome new team Ghana FC to the league this weekend and wish these good luck in their first game in Division One.

In the Premier League division, Brothel FC and Chiellini Con Carne found themselves locked in a 2-2 stalemate. However, the most significant match was Athletico Northfield being convincingly defeated 6-1 by Chivas Supplemento. Tristen, of Chivas Supplemento, rose to the occasion, becoming the division's top scorer with a commendable total of 4 goals.

Division 1 saw METCH FC fall 2-0 to SB Generals, while Sporting Stirchley FC made their mark with a 4-1 victory over FDL FC. The division's top scorer was James Benson of Sporting Stirchley FC, who netted two goals.

In Division 2, AFC Domi Force eked out a narrow 2-1 victory over ECFC. However, it was Tristan Allport of Chivas Primera who stole the spotlight, scoring 3 goals, securing his team's win over Sharkys Saints by 5-1 and becoming the top scorer of the division.

The competition was equally stiff in Division 3, where Sevilla Tism FC edged out Jonah Is Better Than Messi FC 2-1, and Top Gs managed to defeat The Cotters 1-0.
