Sunday 9th February - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled, barring a handful of late cancellations partially owing to the Aston Villa v Spurs game.  We do however look forward to seeing all teams back in action as normal going into next week.

In the Premier League, Avengers Assombalonga emerged victorious with a 4-0 win against Sevilla Tism FC, marking a powerful start to the season. Meanwhile, Jiggy Jiggy United and Cadballerz reached a competitive stalemate, finishing with a 2-2 draw. GamingSoc put on an impressive display against Chiellini Con Carne, securing a 6-3 win.

In Division 1, Unathletico Bilbao edged out 3 Small Plates FC with a 1-0 victory. The Hungry Boys and AFC Domi Force delivered a thrilling match, ending in a 2-2 draw. The standout player in Division 1 was Carter White of AFC Domi Force, scoring a commendable total of two goals.

In Division 2, Sharkys Saints and Bocat Army played out a thrilling encounter with the Saints winning 4-3. Robben Me Blind and Dead Ballers FC ended their match in a 1-1 tie. HARAM BALL dominated their match against Diamond Scrubs with a 6-0 victory.

In Division 3, The Cotters registered an impressive 4-0 win against Encounter Attack, while Road To GC took a narrow 2-1 victory over Shlongball. Lastly, in Division 4, Steel & Iron and 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC ended up in a 3-3 draw. Moseley Magpies secured a 3-1 victory against I Put My Heart In This, and Dilshads United and Ellis Ate Jonah FC concluded their match in a 0-0 draw.
