Cannock Monday Football League kicked off with some intense matches in the first week of the season. The league comprises divisions such as Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 all witnessing breathtaking clashes under the floodlights.

In the Premier League, We Are Bad came out on top against Chadsmoor FC with a scoreline of 4-2. Sevilla Depression and Kennywan FC also put up an enthralling performance, with Kennywan FC securing a close victory with a 4-3 win. No Cap Jack FC also headed off to a good start by defeating MDMaccies FC 4-3.

The Division 1 games were equally exciting with Thiago X Silva overshadowing Aston Villagers 5-3. The Arcade Cannock lost a closely fought battle against Between The Spreadsheets with a score of 2-3, while Game Set And Snatch destroyed Net-six And Chill with a staggering 9-0 win.

Division 2 saw Red Hot Chilli Knackers losing to Ayden B 2-3, while Pathetico Madrid got the better of Koch In Dias with a 3-1 victory. Paralympiacos also started their journey on a high note, defeating Not In Ur Moms Forest 4-2.

In Division 3, Villains FC showed dominance over Bar Sports FC with a 4-0 victory, while RonOLDos triumphed over Bargain Boyz 3-0.

The first week of the season was concluded with Zak Kelay from Thiago X Silva being named the most valued player of the week. His extraordinary performance was a testament to the level of competition and sportsmanship that the rest of the season will offer.
