PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS LEAGUE IS CANCELLED ON MONDAY 27TH MAY DUE TO THE VENUE BEING CLOSED FOR BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL TEAMS RETURN ON MONDAY 3RD JUNE AS PER THE FIXTURES ONLINE AND HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT BANK HOLIDAY BREAK.

A good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week.

Starting with the Premier League, the competition was stiff. The crowd was on edge as Athletico Gem Carpets United and Socks clashed, ending in a 2-2 draw. Similarly, Karius To Glory and Murder On Ya Nans Floor also ended with a 2-2 draw. Skillage In The Village narrowly edged past The Swan FC with a 1-0 victory. The thrilling match between We Are Bad and Sevilla Depression had everyone on their toes, concluding with a 3-3 draw.

Over at Division 1, Tekkerslovakia defeated Aston Villagers 2-0, while Red Hot Chilli Knackers outperformed The Arcade Cannock with a 3-1 victory. Thiago X Silva was victorious with a 4-0 win over Pathetico Madrid, and Harchester United defeated Chadsmoor FC 4-1.

In Division 2, Between The Spreadsheets emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over Olympic Lions. No Cap Jack FC narrowly beat Murder On Zidanes Floor 3-2 and MDMaccies FC triumphed over The Special Ones with a 2-1 victory.

Finally, in Division 3, Ayden B beat Stroke Titty 3-1, Paris Ganja Man triumphed over NOT IN UR MOMS FOREST with a 2-1 victory, Beacon Bombs narrowly defeated Set 8 Ballers 3-2 and Bar Sports FC edged out PWD FC with a 1-0 win.

The league's top scorers were quite clearly spread across the divisions, demonstrating the depth of talent in the Cannock Monday 6-a-side football league. The top scorers for each division are yet to be officially announced. Stay tuned for next week's action-packed games.
