Monday 17th June - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across the four divisions and some well competed matches played.

In the Premier League, Athletico Gem Carpets United pulled off an exceptional performance by defeating The Swan FC 5-1. The match was a testament to the United's potent attack as they dominated the field. Similarly, We Are Bad exhibited a stellar defensive play, shutting down Socks with a 4-0 victory. Skillage In The Village's 2-0 win over Karius To Glory was another highlight of the Premier League.

Over in Division 1, Aston Villagers emerged victorious with a tight 3-2 win against The Arcade Cannock. Meanwhile, Harchester United clinched a 4-0 win over Red Hot Chilli Knackers, securing a dominant presence in the league. Pathetico Madrid also showcased their prowess, winning 4-0 against Chadsmoor FC.

In Division 2, Between The Spreadsheets came out on top with a 2-0 victory over No Cap Jack FC, while The Special Ones showcased their offensive capabilities with a 6-1 win over Olympic Lions. A highlight in this division was the fierce battle between Koch In Dias and MDMaccies FC that ended in a 3-3 draw.

Finally, in Division 3, Ayden B narrowly edged out NOT IN UR MOMS FOREST with a 1-0 win. The close game of Set 8 Ballers and Stroke Titty, which ended 2-0 in favor of Stroke Titty, was one of the most closely watched games of the evening.
