Monday 1st July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring cancellations from two teams.  Tekkerslovakia have confirmed their return on Monday 8th July, whilst Socks have unfortunately had to withdraw from the league.

We welcome new team Rawnsley Rangers to the league as a replacement for the above, and wish these good luck going into their debut game on Monday 8th July.

On the pitch, in the Premier League, Aston Villagers took an impressive victory over We Are Bad, with a 2-0 scoreline. Inter Ya Nan FC also started strong, defeating Athletico Gem Carpets United 2-0. Skillage In The Village proved their dominance with a commanding 6-3 win over Pathetico Madrid, with Toby Phillips of Skillage In The Village earning the title of Most Valued Player for the week.
