Monday 21st January - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance as scheduled except a cancellation from 'Chicken Tikka Mo Salah' who return as normal on Monday 28th January.

The top v bottom clash was a lot closer than anticipated this week as Renault McCann beat Whoppas United 1-0 to retain maximum points after the opening 4 matches.

Classtro Turf were the big winners in Division One this week and sit in second place after a 6-2 win over The Manx.  

Club Bates and Karius To Glory are currently the only teams in Division Two on maximum points as they won their fourth games in a row,   Bates have a superior goal difference after a 5-2 win over NC Hammer whilst Karius looked solid in a 1-0 win over Notinyourmoms Forest.
