It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, the only exception being Snorting Wizbon who return as normal on Sunday 17th March.
In the Premier League Division, PBDL FC secured a narrow victory over Murder On Zidanes Floor, with a hard-fought 2-1 win. Meanwhile, Diadora FC demonstrated their dominance with a 3-1 victory against Jobbas Warriors. The high-scoring match of the week was undoubtedly AC McCann's clash against BARELY ATHLETIC; AC McCann triumphed with an impressive 8-3 scoreline, showcasing their offensive prowess.
Moving to Division 1, the energy was equally palpable. Adi Cannock put up a strong fight, but it was Norfolk N Chance who emerged victorious with a 2-1 win. Kane Cobras FC and Sky Blue Army battled it out but it was Sky Blue who emerged victorious with a 2-1 win. Street FC managed to edge out Hednesford U5s in a tense 1-0 victory. We wish all teams good luck heading into the next round of fixtures with Cannock's premier providers of small sided football.
