It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled, barring DaBoyz for the second week in a row, they have now been removed from the league with immediate effect, opening up one vacancy in the bottom division!
In the Premier League, last night's games produced an array of victories and losses, with the most riveting game being played between Real Miners F.C. and What Divock, where What Divock edged out a 3-2 victory. Evidently, the rapid-fire pace and end-to-end action kept the spectators on their toes throughout the match.
Norfolk N Chance also secured a convincing win against Burntwood FC with a scoreline of 3-1. The match highlighted both the team's defensive prowess and offensive flair. On the other hand, Diadora FC managed to shut down Murder On Zidanes Floor, in a 2-0 victory. While Street FC and 01543 FC game ended in a goalless draw, which left both teams searching for their first win of the season.
Over to Division 1, the evening saw Bar Snort FC triumph over Still Haven't Got One Yet with a 3-1 scoreline. The game highlighted Bar Snort FC's dominance and their potential to climb up the leaderboard as the season progresses. WeKanteWin also claimed a decisive 3-0 victory over Hednesford U5s, demonstrating their strong defensive strategies and attacking prowess. Barely Athletic emerged victorious in their game against Glass On Grass with a 3-1 win, marking their first win of the season.
We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Cannock and Hednesford's premier small sided football providers!
