Sunday 14th May - Cannock Round-Up

The fifth game week of the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6-a-side league took place at the 5's Pavilion and Sports Ground, where some cracking matches kept the spectators on the edge of their seats in sun-drenched conditions at Pye Green!

In the Premier Division, the first match of the day saw a determined Ayden FC defeating Norfolk N Chance 3-1, with the latter team running out of luck. Meanwhile, Sky Blue Army failed to make any inroads against We Kante Win, who retained their position at the top of the table with a 0-0 draw. Next, the Master Haters were hat-tricked by Diadora FC with a 4-2 defeat, leaving the former struggling to maintain their position. The Snorting Wizbon team were left with their noses out of joint, losing 6-2 against Team Maestro, who played their instruments to perfection. Lastly, Stroke Titty and 01543 FC played out a goalless draw, which saw Stroke Titty move up to second place in the table.

In Division One, Hednesford U5s couldn't hold off the might of Fatletico III and lost 2-0. Barely Athletic had a comfortable 2-0 victory against Bar Snort FC, while FUB FC dominated the field with a 9-0 win over Kane Cobras FC, who remained at the bottom of the table. Breast Rummige Albion and AC McCann battled it out with a 2-2 draw, while Dynamo Fukttherest triumphed over LeaveMyArselona 5-3, leaving the latter in a tight spot.
