The Cannock Sunday 6 a side league kicked off with great energy as all teams across both divisions attended for the new season. The matches were held at the superb 3G pitch of 5's Pavilion, which provided the players with an excellent playing surface.
In the Premier Division, 01543 FC began their campaign with a comfortable 3-0 victory over We Kante Win. They dominated the game from the start, with some excellent attacking moves and solid defending. Team Maestro also started their season with a victory, as they defeated Ayden FC 3-1. It was a closely contested match, but Team Maestro's superior attacking skills proved to be the difference between the two sides.
In a thrilling encounter, Stroke Titty managed to edge out Diadora FC 3-2. Both teams gave their all in a fiercely contested match, but it was Stroke Titty who emerged victorious in the end. Norfolk N Chance claimed a narrow 1-0 win over Sky Blue Army, thanks to an early goal from their striker. In the final match of the Premier Division, Snorting Wizbon and Master Haters played out an entertaining 1-1 draw.
In Division One, AC MCCann started their season in spectacular fashion, as they thumped Kane Cobras 13-0. It was a one-sided affair, as AC MCCann's attackers ran riot and their defense kept a clean sheet. Hednesford Under 5's also had a great start to their campaign, as they beat Bar Snort FC 5-0. They dominated the match from start to finish, and their attackers were too hot to handle for Bar Snort FC's defense.
Leavemyarselona secured a 2-0 win over ACFC, with both goals coming in the second half. FUB FC and Barely Athletic played out a closely contested match, with FUB FC eventually emerging as the winners by a score of 3-2. In the final match of the division, Breast Rummidge Albion defeated Dynamo Fuktherest 4-3 in an exciting match that could have gone either way.
