It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions as scheduled.
In the Premier League, the race for top spot intensified with a nail-biting encounter between AC McCann and 01543 FC. The latter managed to edge out a narrow 3-2 victory, showcasing their championship credentials. BARELY ATHLETIC ramped up the pressure with a commanding 3-1 triumph against Jobbas Warriors. Meanwhile, Snorting Wizbon clinched a close 3-2 win over Diadora FC, and FC G&T dominated PBDL FC with a resounding 4-1 scoreline.
The action in Division 1 was equally as riveting. Adi Cannock stunned Bar Snort FC with a 6-2 win, asserting their dominance over the league. FUB FC's 3-1 victory against Street FC further complicated the fight for the top spot. Hednesford U5s emerged victorious in their match against Sky Blue Army, with a 4-1 win, whilst Norfolk N Chance rounded up the week's play with an impressive 4-0 victory over Kane Cobras Fc.
