Sunday 17th October - Cannock Round-Up

It was a fantastic start to the new season in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance across both divisions and some entertaining matches played.

Messi Busquets were the weeks big winners as they got off to a fantastic start with a 7-1 thrashing of Guilty Sigurdsson, whilst Team Maestro gave newly promoted Diadora FC a tough start to life in the Premier Division, as they ran out 6-2 winners.  The other newly promoted team, Dynamo Fuktherest also suffered defeat on their first game back in the top flight, 4-2 the final score as Snorting Wizbon were victorious.  Elsewhere, nothing could separate Stroke Titty and It Just Got Messi who played out an entertaining 3-3 draw.

New team Per Vertesacker suffered defeat in their debut game in Division One, as Strix put them to the sword in a game that they ran out 4-2 winners.  Dingles Reunited put in a professional performance with a 3-0 win over Double Pogba and Koke, whilst FUB FC were 4-0 winners against We Kante Win, and 01543 FC squeezed past Pique Blinders by a 2-1 scoreline.
