Sunday 19th June - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled across both divisions and some entertaining fixtures played.  The only exception to this was a late cancellation from AFC Nest in Division One, they return on Sunday 26th June.

It was a night of close games with plenty of goals in the Premier Division.  Leaders Dynamo won a ten goal thriller against 01543 FC to take the points in a game which ended 6-4, whilst Fatletico II dropped to second spot after a 4-2 reverse against Diadora FC, and Snorting Wizbon moved into third and level with second as they were 3-2 winners over Stroke Titty.  Game of the night saw Sandra's Sweethearts relinquish a 5-1 lead to unbelievably lose 7-5 against GabiUrMy Boy!

In Division One in the two league games which took place, Team Maestro keep up their promotion hunt as they were 3-2 victors over Master Haters in a well competed game, whilst FUB FC were 6-1 winners over Ayden FC to also keep themselves in the hunt.
