Sunday 19th May - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled across both divisions, the only exception being a cancellation from Hednesford U5's who we look forward to seeing back in attendance on Sunday 26th May.

On the pitch, in the Premier Division, suspense was at its peak as Barely Athletic narrowly scraped a victory over AC McCann with a scoreline of 3-2. Meanwhile, Norfolk N Chance showed promising performance, defeating Diadora FC 2-0. Displaying sheer dominance, Murder On Zidanes Floor bested Real Miners F.C 4-1, a victory that has sparked much talk among the spectators. FC G&T and Snorting Wizbon offered an electrifying match that ended with FC G&T scoring a whopping 8 against Wizbon's 4. Meanwhile, 01543 FC put up a great show, winning 3-1 against Street FC.

Onto Division 1, the competition was equally gripping. FUB FC triumphed over What Divock with a close 3-2 score. Kane Cobras FC showed their mettle, clinching a 4-3 victory against Sky Blue Army. The most decisive win was seen in Jobbas Warriors versus Adi Cannock, with the Warriors leading 3-1.
