Sunday 1st December - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night across both divisions, the only exception being a cancellation from Norton who return to action this week.

In the Premier League, 01543 FC made an impressive statement with a stunning 9-0 victory against Exeter Gently, securing their strong position in the league. Meanwhile, Burntwood FC outperformed Norfolk N Chance, securing a 4-1 win and taking some crucial points home. The nail-biting face-off between Diadora FC and Murder On Zidanes Floor ended with Diadora FC sneaking a narrow 1-0 win, further intensifying the competition for the top spot.

Switching gears to Division 1, we saw a tough match between Bar Snort FC and Still Haven't Got One Yet, with the former emerging victorious with a 3-1 win. WeKanteWin also clinched a 3-1 victory over Hednesford U5s, demonstrating their grit and determination. BARELY ATHLETIC defeated Glass On Grass by a thin margin of 3-2, which was nothing short of a thriller. However, the highlight of Division 1 was the energetic performance by FUB FC, who dominated the field with a 9-1 victory over Two Girls One Schlupp.
