Sunday 1st September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches, the only exception being ADI Cannock who'll be spoken to accordingly.

On a positive note, we welcome new team Class on Grass to the league on Sunday 8th September, we wish these good luck going into their first fixture!

In the Premier League, Norfolk N Chance excelled with a decisive 4-1 victory over WeKanteWin. Both 01543 FC and Street FC mirrored their triumphs, each securing a 4-1 win against FC G&T and BARELY ATHLETIC, respectively. Murder On Zidanes Floor and Diadora FC battled to a 2-2 draw in a game that kept spectators on their toes while Real Miners F.C. narrowly edged out AC McCann in a tense 2-1 match.

Over in Division 1, Burntwood Dragons fell to What Divock with a score of 1-3. The Sky Blue Army couldn't quite keep pace with Bar Snort FC, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat.

As we look forward to the final two weeks of the season, it's clear that every team is fighting hard for a place in the next season.
