Sunday 20th October - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up
It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night and some excellent football on display.
In the Premier League, under the floodlights, we saw a definitive performance by Diadora FC, who confidently dispatched 01543 FC with a score of 3-1. Burntwood FC also enjoyed a successful night, winning 3-0 against Murder On Zidanes Floor. The match between What Divock and Norfolk N Chance ended in stalemate with a 1-1 draw, displaying an immense effort from both sides. In a closely contested match, Real Miners F.C. managed to edge past Street FC with a 1-0 victory.
On the other hand, Division 1 saw some fierce competition with BARELY ATHLETIC and FUB FC battling it out to a 4-4 draw. Glass On Grass triumphed over WeKanteWin with a 3-0 win, showing their dominance on the pitch. The match between Still Haven't Got One Yet and Hednesford U5s was decided by a solitary goal, with Still Haven't Got One Yet taking home the win.
