Sunday 21st April - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good end to the season in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night for the final round of fixtures, the only exception being Jobbas Warriors, who have confirmed they will be back for the new campaign.

We are also delighted to confirm the addition of three new teams for Sunday 28th April.  We wish Real Miners FC, Burntwood Dragons and Six Offenders good luck going into their debut games.

In a nail-biting final match of the season, PBDL FC and 01543 FC played an intense game, resulting in a draw with a scoreline of 3-3. However, FC G&T proved their mettle by winning against AC McCann by 1-0, crowning them as the Premier League champions. With an impressive tally of 36 points from 18 wins, FC G&T's triumphant run became a testament to their skill, teamwork, and resilience.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, teams including Sky Blue Army, Adi Cannock, Norfolk N Chance, Street FC, Kane Cobras Fc, What Divock, Hednesford U5s, and Bar Snort FC battled it out in what was an exhilarating week of football. The match between Sky Blue Army and Adi Cannock resulted in a 1-1 draw. Norfolk N Chance emerged victorious against Street FC with a score of 1-0, claiming the title in Division 1 with an overall total of 31 points earned through 15 wins.
