Sunday 23rd June - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being Snorting Wizbon who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 30th June.

Starting off with the Premier League, the clash of the week was undoubtedly between Diadora FC and FC G&T, which ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw. Both teams showcased exceptional skills and determination, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats.

Norfolk N Chance triumphed 2-1 over Real Miners F.C. in a tightly contested match, while AC McCann dominated Street FC with a 5-2 victory. The most dramatic game of the night, however, was between BARELY ATHLETIC and Murder On Zidanes Floor which ended 4-3 in favor of the latter, marking a thrilling end to the Premier League matches for the week.

Moving to the Division 1, Bar Snort FC fell to a heavy 4-0 defeat against Jobbas Warriors. Meanwhile, Chadsmoor Wanderers squeezed past Kane Cobras FC with a narrow 2-1 victory. Sky Blue Army beat What Divock 3-1, and FUB FC triumphed 3-1 over Hednesford U5s.

However, the highlight of Division 1 this week was Burntwood Dragons' emphatic 10-1 win over Adi Cannock, setting a League record for the season.
