Sunday 23rd October - Cannock Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, we did however have a couple of cancellations on the day, Puyol Pants Down and Passion Wagons are due to return to action on Sunday 30th October.

Balotellitubbies have now been removed from the league with immediate effect for their failure to attend without notifying Head Office.  We are pleased to welcome new team Norfolk N Chance to the league and wish these good luck going into their game on Sunday 30th October.

Firing Squad's eighth win in a row came in the form of a 5-1 thrashing of Stroke Titty as the battle of the top two was nowhere near as close as thought as the leaders moved six points clear.  Third placed Diadora FC moved level on points with the team directly above them as they edged past We Kante Win by a goal to nil.  Snorting Wizbon moved up a place to fifth as they ran out 8-0 winners over FUB FC in a dominant performance, whilst PG moved off the foot of the table with a 4-1 win over Hednesford U5's.

Due to the above cancellations there was only one league game took place in Division One this week, as 01543 FC went to the top of the pile with a hard earned 3-2 win over Team Maestro.

We look forward to the league getting back on track this week and wish the new boys good luck going into their first fixture in Division One.
