Sunday 24th November - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled across both divisions.

In the Premier League division, the fervour reached a fever pitch with Murder On Zidanes Floor falling 6-2 to the mighty 01543 FC. In a similarly heated encounter, Diadora FC managed to squeeze a 4-3 triumph against Norfolk N Chance, while Burntwood FC showed their prowess with a narrow 2-1 win over Nortons Finest. In the final match of the division, What Divock outplayed Exeter Gently with a commendable 5-2 victory.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the action was equally intense. FUB FC and Bar Snort FC concluded their match with a tense 3-3 draw, as did Glass On Grass and Two Girls One Schlupp with a 2-2 stalemate. Hednesford U5s, however, managed to get the upper hand against BARELY ATHLETIC, taking the game 5-2. The most impressive display came from Still Haven't Got One Yet, who managed a stunning 5-0 victory against WeKanteWin.
