Sunday 25th August - Cannock Round-Up

It was a slightly mixed evening in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week with a handful of teams missing owing to the Bank Holiday Weekend.  We look forward to seeing all teams back in attendance for the matches on Sunday 1st September.

We also welcome new team WeKanteWin to the league on Sunday 1st September, and wish these good luck going into their first fixture with us.

In the Premier League, the match between Real Miners F.C. and 01543 FC ended in a draw, with both teams scoring three goals each. This game was the epitome of suspense and excitement, keeping spectators at the edge of their seats till the final whistle. On the other hand, Murder On Zidanes Floor and Norfolk N Chance offered an intense face-off, which resulted in a goal-less draw.

Transitioning to Division 1, Sky Blue Army asserted their dominance over Adi Cannock with a resounding 4-1 victory. Sky Blue Army's relentless attack coupled with a solid defence proved too much for Adi Cannock. In the other match, Jobbas Warriors triumphed over Burntwood Dragons 3-1, showcasing a commendable team effort.
