Sunday 25th February - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring Bosnich Boys and a cancellation from Per Vertesacker, both of which will be spoken to and confirmed to return on Sunday 3rd March.

In the Premier League division, PBDL FC stole the show with a resounding 11-0 victory over 01543 FC. Their aggressive offence and impenetrable defense dominated the match, leaving no chance for the opposition to put any points on the board. On another pitch, FC G&T showcased their superior strategy against AC McCann, outscoring them 6-1. The match between BARELY ATHLETIC and Diadora FC was a little closer, with Diadora FC managing to secure a 3-1 win.

Moving to Division 1, the competition was no less fierce. Sky Blue Army secured a comfortable 4-0 victory against Adi Cannock, demonstrating their prowess with a commanding performance. Street FC managed to keep a clean sheet against Norfolk N Chance, winning the game 2-0. Kane Cobras FC showed their venom against The Crow-Knees, scoring 6 goals in a decisive 6-2 victory. Finally, Bar Snort FC made quick work of Hednesford U5s, garnering a 3-0 triumph.
