It was another fantastic evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed games played throughout the night across all three divisions.
Premier Division leaders Stroke Titty suffered a 3-2 reverse at the hands of Diadora FC this week although they've already completed the hard yards and wrapped the title up weeks ago, Diadora will be aiming for a second placed finish though and could achieve this as they move a point off second placed We Kante Win who were beaten 6-3 against Team Maestro. Snorting Wizbon climbed out of the drop zone as they were 2-0 winners over Dynamo Fuktherest (formerly ItJustGotMessi), whilst 01543 dropped back into the relegation zone as they were beaten 4-1 by already relegated FUB FC.
Division One could not be any closer in terms of the title race, Ayden FC were rampant 9-1 winners over Leavemyarselona to stay top whilst second placed Norfolk N Chance came from behind to rescue their title aspirations, winning 2-1 in a well competed game against Hednesford. It is literally a winner takes all game next week to decide who takes the title, but Norfolk cannot afford any less than a win if they want to take the silverware. Other action in the division saw Buddhist Ballers claim a 2-1 win against Master Haters, whilst Breast Rummage Albion were rampant 8-2 winners against ACFC.
Sky Blue Army dropped their first points since joining the newly formed DIvision Two this week as they lost out in a ten goal thriller against Goal Goal Power Rangers in a game that ended 6-4! Elsewhere Bar Snort cruised past Kane Cobras 5-1.
We thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment to the league and wish all good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Cannock's premier providers of small sided football.
