Sunday 26th June - Cannock Round-Up
It was another good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all 16 teams in attendance as scheduled, including new team Tekkerslovakia who joined on the day and got off to a fine start in Division One as they were 9-4 winners in a thriller over Team Maestro.
In the Premier Division Dynamo Fuktherest dropped from top to third after being held to a draw in an entertaining encounter against Diadora FC which ended 4-4. Fatletico II moved to the top of the pile with a 4-2 win over Sharon's Sweethearts, whilst Snorting Wizbon now occupy second place with a 3-0 win against 01543. Completing the action in the Premier Division was another entertaining game in which Gabi recorded a 5-3 win over Stroke Titty.
Firing Squad made it 5 wins on the spin as they thrashed Ayden FC 8-2 this week to remain top of Division One, Fub FC moved into second place after winning a hard fought encounter 3-2 over We Kante Win, whilst AFC Nest got back to winning ways after a tough run of results, they were 3-1 victors over Master Haters.
