Sunday 27th February - Cannock League Round-Up

It was a good evening's football this week in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being a cancellation on the day from Sponsored Breaks who've now withdrawn after completing their notice period.

FUB FC haven't looked back since their promotion to the Premier Division, they made it three wins from three this week, with a 4-3 victory over champions It Just Got Messi, who have had a tough start to this campaign, losing two of their opening three games.  Dynamo move to second place on goals scored as they were 5-0 winners over Snorting Wizbon, with Stroke Titty dropping to third place despite a convincing 3-0 win over We Kante Win.  Fourth placed Team Maestro dug in deep and claimed a hard fought 4-3 win over Diadora FC in an entertaining encounter which completed the Premier Division action.

In Division One the two league games which took place produced some entertaining football, as Double Pogba and Koke won an 11 goal thriller over Per Vertesacker to claim a thrilling 7-4 win, whilst Tekkerslovakia triumphed over Springies VI whom they recorded a 3-1 win against leaving them handily placed in third position.
