Sunday 28th July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week.  We were however disappointed to see two non-attendances.  We look forward to seeing 01543 FC return as normal on Sunday 4th August, but have removed Snorting Wizbon who disappointingly failed to attend for the second week running.  

In the Premier League division, FC G&T put on a dominant performance, trouncing Real Miners F.C. with a resounding 7-1 victory. Norfolk N Chance managed to edge past BARELY ATHLETIC with a 2-1 win in a closely fought battle. Street FC proved too strong for Murder On Zidanes Floor, winning the match 1-0.

Switching the focus to Division 1, What Divock claimed a hard-fought victory against Chadsmoor Wanderers, courtesy of a solitary goal. Jobbas Warriors defeated Kane Cobras Fc 2-0 in a match that saw the Cobras unable to convert their chances. Hednesford U5s found themselves on the wrong side of a 4-0 scoreline against Sky Blue Army, who put on a masterclass in attacking football. Adi Cannock triumphed over Bar Snort FC with a 4-2 victory in an entertaining back-and-forth match. Lastly, Burntwood Dragons roared to a 4-1 win over FUB FC, displaying their offensive prowess.
