It was another good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across both divisions, including two new teams who joined us this week, one in each division.
The top of the Premier Division got closer after this week's action as leaders We Kante Win suffered a 2-0 reverse at the hands of Diadora FC who despite dropping to fourth on goals scored move to within two points of the leaders in a cluster of teams. Stroke Titty stay in second but are now within a single point of league leaders Kante after they were 2-0 winners against FUB FC. Team Maestro made short work of new boys Breast Rummidge Albion and moved to third after romping to an 8-1 victory, whilst 01543 moved out of the drop zone after recording back to back wins, this week beating Snorting Wizbon by 4 goals to 2.
Division One leaders Ayden FC made it 5 wins on the spin this week as they disposed of Panthers FC by 6 goals to nil in an impressive performance, keeping them two points clear of second placed Norfolk N Chance who ran out 3-0 victors against Put It In Dias. Master Haters moved into third position but were made to work for the win by new boys Leavemyarselona who they edged past by 3 goals to 2. Completing the action was ACFC who got their first victory of the season who were impressive 7-3 victors over Hednesford U5's who remain pointless so far.
We thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league which helps to ensure the league runs smoothly on a weekly basis. If you have any queries regarding the league you can contact Shaun at Head Office on 0333 123 2340.
